This web site shows much information on several trails in South Carolina. This web site mainly focuses on hiking trails.
The Nature Conservancy’s motto is, “saving the last great places on earth”. This agency works around the world to help conserve nature. Their office in South Carolina is located in Columbia on Devine Street. There are several places in South Carolina that they are actively conserving.
Palmetto Conservation Foundation
This agency works in South Carolina to conserve SC’s natural places. They have worked to create the Palmetto Trail. This trail converses the state from Awendaw to Oconee.
Department of Natural Resources
This is a state agency that focuses on the natural resources of the state. It also focuses on the hunting and fishing opportunities in the state.
